With Val d’Isere, Tignes is part of one of the great European ski areas, the Espace Killy with a total of more than 350km of ski runs.
Tignes Transfert is based in Tignes so of course we think that this is the finest resort!

This is one of the few European ski resorts where snow is guaranteed throughout the winter. It is even possible to ski in summer on the Glacier de la Grande Motte. (3656 m)

The off-piste area is world famous, especially with beautiful off-piste routes such as the north face of the Glacier and numerous freeskiing competitions are held here (X-Games, Linecatcher, Freeride World Tour).

The resort is spread over five villages: Les Brevieres, a picturesque mountain village located 1500 meters above sea level at the foot of the famous Tignes dam; Tignes – Les Boisses on Lake Chevril (recently renamed Tignes 1800); Then above the Tignes dam at 2000m we find the villages of Lavachet, and Tignes le Lac and finally Tignes-Val Claret located at 2100m.
